Strong syndic debut for "L&O:CI"
"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" made its syndication debut on Monday and NBC Universal Television Distribution is celebrating the first day Nielsen numbers. L&O:CI premiered at a 1.2 rating and three share in the metered markets; that's a 9% improvement to the same time period a year ago (1.1/3) and it held its lead-in share (1.5/3).
In addition to year-to-year increases, the syndicator said premiere of L&O:CI delivered large increases versus the prior Monday time period with a +100% increase at 11 pm on WWOR New York; a +167% increase on at 12 midnight on KCOP in Los Angeles; and a +17% jump at 10 pm on WPWR in Chicago. CI showed week-to-week growth over time period in nine of the top 10 markets. Some of the highest rated markets for the debut included Miami (WSVN), Nashville (WTVF), Cincinnati (WSTR) and Memphis (WLMT).
