Actually, it doesn't matter, since Tom Bergeron will have cards with the answers as he hosts the final championship rounds of "The 2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee" on ABC Friday, May 30th (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), live from Washington, DC. Preliminary rounds earlier the same day will air on sister cable net ESPN.
"SportsCenter" anchor Chris McKendry returns to host the ESPN portion of the broadcast again this year.
New to the broadcast, as is Bergeron, is ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews, who will be a correspondent for both the ABC and ESPN broadcasts.
