AARP gets into DTV coupon business

Old-time advocate AARP, worried that 40% of the 20M households at risk of being left behind during the DTV conversion have a member aged 50 or older, are making DTV digital to analog converter boxes available on the AARP website. The 50+ demo is said to be the biggest TV-watching age group, and relies on local broadcast television for emergency information, as well as general news, information and entertainment.
