Promotions at Nexstar

Nexstar Broadcasting Group has named Blake Russell as Vice President of Marketing & Operations. Working with the company's 29 GMs, he will be responsible for the conception, execution and implementation of the company's strategic initiative and special projects. Blake has been with Nexstar for 10 years, most recently as VP/GM of KNWA-TV (NBC) and KFTA-TV (Fox) Fayetteville-Ft. Smith, AR. Succeeding him in that position is Mike Vaughn, who had been Director of Sales for those two stations and KARK-TV (NBC) Little Rock.
