Mehta jumps to NBC

Former ESPN exec Salil Mehta has joined NBC Universal as President, Business Operations, Strategy and Development. He will be responsible for leading NBCU's global business strategy and corporate development activities, including identifying industry trends and investment opportunities and continuing to shift the company's portfolio toward high-growth areas. At ESPN, Mehta served as Executive Vice President of ESPN Enterprises, with general management responsibilities for all of ESPN's non-broadcasting businesses including new media, broadband, mobile, publishing, videogames and consumer products businesses.
