Compton lands at Tribune

Sean Compton has joined Tribune Company as Senior VP of Programming and Entertainment for the company’s 23 TV stations, succeeding Marc Schacher, who exits after 29 years at Tribune. Compton recently resigned as VP of Programming for Clear Channel Radio and Premiere Radio Networks.
RBR/TVBR observation: It looks like Tribune is the fun place to be these days, particularly for radio guys wanting to try new ideas for an old-line company with print and TV properties.
