When Steve Wasserman stepped down as VP/GM of Post-Newsweek’s WDIV-TV (Ch. 4, NBC) Detroit in January (1/8/08 TVBR #4) he said he wanted to return to the Sunbelt. Well, he’s found a new home that fits the bill. Scripps has named Wasserman VP/GM of WPTV-TV (Ch. 5, NBC) West Palm Beach.
