No retirement for Scheiffer

Bob Schieffer had talked about retirement from CBS News, but instead he’s signed a new long-term contract. He’ll continue on “Face the Nation,” which he has anchored since 1991. Scheiffer is also the network’s chief Washington Correspondent and will continue to contribute to the “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” “The Early Show” and to CBS News’ coverage of the 2008 political campaign.
