Newport Television has named Bill Sally General Manger of WXXA-TV (Fox) Albany, NY, succeeding Sally Stamp, who had been in the post for about a year. Sally, a 30-year broadcasting veteran, was most recently GM of WFFF-TV (Fox) and WVNY-TV (ABC) Burlington, VT.
