Fox cleans up

If we told you that anything other than the NFC Championship game on Fox was the #1 show on television last week, you’d know we’re lying. And if you tie together the three pieces of Fox’s coverage of the New York-Green Bay game with two nights of “American Idol,” you have a clean sweep of the top five in the Nielsen household ratings.

That gave Fox an average HH rating for the week of 13.4 with a 21 share, followed way back by CBS at 6.3/10, NBC 5.1/8, ABC 4.1/7, Univision 1.8/3, CW 1.3/2, Telemundo and MyNetworkTV tied at 0.7/1, TeleFutura 0.4/1, Ion 0.3/1 and Azteca America 0.1/0.

Fox jumped to a commanding lead for the season-to-date in the key 18-49 demo, with the other three of the big four tied for second place. For the week the 18-49 rundown was Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC, Univision, CW, Telemundo, a tie by TeleFutura and MyNetworkTV, and a final tie by Ion and Azteca America.
