Games 3, 4 and 5 of the LA-Boston NBA Finals produced strong summer ratings for ABC. As the week's three most watched shows on television, the basketball playoff series made the Alphabet Net the 18-49 winner for the week, although CBS still won the Household ratings race.

In HH, CBS had a 4.9 rating and 9 share, NBC 4.4/8, ABC 4.3/8, Fox 3.8/7, Univision 1.7/3, CW 1.1/2, MyNetworkTV 0.7/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.3/0, Ion 0.2/0 and Azteca America 0.1/0.

In the key 18-49 demo, it was ABC, Fox, NBC, CBS, Univision, CW, a tie by Telemundo and MyNetworkTV, TeleFutura, and a final tie by Azteca America and Ion.
