Conan O’Brien roadshow in the offing

The gentleman with a lengthy resume in very late night programming on NBC and a fairly brief resume when it comes to the portion of late night that comes right after the local news signs off is about ready to board the bus and hit the road for “The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour.”

O’Brien has been using his Twitter account to comment on the tour’s progress. “Good news: Just added second shows in San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and LA. Bad news: Still no show in Guam.”

He also tweeted, “We are now adding a second show in both NYC & Chicago. For that second show, I'll be doing all Liza Minnelli songs.”

And “Hey Internet: I'm headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour. Go to http://TeamCoco.com for tix. I repeat: It's half-assed.”

The tour kicks off 4/12/10 in Vancouver BC, and so far, the final date is 6/11/10 in Atlanta.

RBR-TVBR observation: O’Brien may be lamenting the lack of a stop in Guam, but as we reported earlier, he has been offered a radio gig in Pago Pago in the US’s own American Samoa territory. So if he isn’t going to the South Pacific, the fault is his own!

Details on the Pago Pago radio gig are available here:
