Takers found for 60 Equity stations

A total of 60 television stations, both full and low power, went to successful bidders in an auction held to peddle stations in the Equity Media Holdings Corporation stable. The total take was $21.28M. However, not everything was sold -- there are still properties on the block.

According to Patrick Communications’ Greg Guy, the unsold stations were pulled by the sellers. He said there was and continued to be interest in them. However, there will not be another auction. Rather, they will be sold in a more traditional manner or taken over by Equity’s creditors.
