Here’s how the depression in station transactions plays in the non-profit world. The sale of WQPT-TV Moline IL, in the state-straddling Quad Cities DMA, isn’t really a sale at all. The station is going from Black Hawk College to the Greater Quad Cities Telecommunications Corporation in exchange for GQCTC’s simple promise to operate the station in the public interest.
