CW WBKI-DT, serving the Louisville DMA from its hometown of Campbellsville KY, has been won at auction by Fusion TV, according to brokerage firm CobbCorp, which handled the process for the seller. The seller was WBKISLG, LLC. Fusion will use the name Louisville TV Group LLC on the license.

Terms of the transaction were not revealed, but those invited to the auction were told earlier to have more than $750K to spend to be considered.

WBKI-DT’s Channel 19 transmitter is located about 60 miles from Louisville, but it gets cable carriage good for 377K households and reaches another 171.3K via satellite. It’s location allows for viewing by some people in the Bowling Green KY and Lexington KY markets off air. It also has a low power translator, WBKI-CA, operating in Louisville on Channel 28.

According to CobbCorp, Louisville is the 50th ranked DMA, with 649K households, meaning that the station has access to the vast majority of local residents.
