New majority owner for Topeka CP
Barbara Wade is getting a 51% stake in KSQA-TV Topeka KS, a DIY project earmarked for Channel 22. The new licensee, once the deal closes, will be KSQA LLC. Joining Wade in the buyer are Sheila J. Talley Robertson and Gregory M. Talley, who also happen to be the sellers under licensee name Cooper Fowler Media Company. They will each have half of the remaining 49% of the licenses company. Wade’s cash payment to move to the top of the investor list is a modest $12K.
