Another Pegasus station flies off

A DIY project in the Gainesville FL DMA is getting a new owner. Eugene J. Brown's MPS Media is a third party in the transaction, and will be expanding into the market after taking over a purchase option of a Pegasus Satellite Communications TV CP that was struck by a second part about a year ago. The CP is pegged for analog Channel 29 and DTV Channel 9. MPS will pay 864,937 cash to add the station to its portfolio, which already includes television operations in Chattanooga TN, Tallahassee FL, Wilkes Barre-Scranton PA and Portland-Auburn ME.
