TV Deal of the Week
New Vision gets two nets in Youngstown
The crown jewel in New Vision Television's estimated 54M Youngstown-Warren OH deal is CBS WKBN-TV. But it also gets an LPTV and a Class A which carry Fox into the market. The seller is Paul Brissette's Piedmont Television Holdings. Jason Elkin heads New Vision.
Radio Deal of the Week
Fargo not too far to go for Ingstad
James D. Ingstad's Radio Fargo-Moorhead Inc. is returning to the market the company is named after with stations it used to own (in most cases), including KFGO-AM/KKBX-FM/WDAY-FM, KDAM-FM, KVOX-AM, KRVI-FM & KFAB-FM. Seller Clear Channel gets 14M. KFAB-FM will be sent off non-commercial Northwestern College for cap compliance purposes for a tower lease credit and a tax write-off.
