65 markets up double digits in four years

If you own a TV station in Lima, OH, and only two companies do, you've been on quite a run - - BIA Financial Network says Lima was the top growth market in the country for the past four years, with revenues up 74%. In all, 65 markets were up 10% or more. In raw revenues, of course, the big gainer for the period was the Los Angeles market, up 110.8 million bucks. "Obviously, the larger markets dominate the top 10 markets in terms of the greatest total revenue changes, but interestingly, other markets such as Las Vegas, San Diego and Milwaukee also showed strong growth," noted Mark Fratrik, VP of BIAfn.
