Two big EEO violations; NAL’s issued


FCCThe Commission informed (12/5) both Maryland Public Broadcasting (MPB) and Clear Channel/Chicago stations (AMFM Broadcasting Licenses, LLC) of Notices of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture (NAL) to the tune of $20,000 each for violations of the Equal Employment Opportunity Rules.

The Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission stations include WMPB(TV), Baltimore, MD; WCPB(TV), Salisbury, MD; WFPT(TV), Frederick, MD; WGPT(TV), Oakland, MD; WMPT(TV), Annapolis, MD; and WWPB(TV) Hagerstown, MD.

The Clear Channel stations include WNUA(FM), Chicago, IL; WGCI-FM, Chicago, IL; WKSC-FM, Chicago, IL; WGRB(AM), Chicago, IL; WLIT-FM, Chicago, IL; and WVAZ(FM), Oak Park, IL.
