U.S. stocks end lower

Stocks on Friday built on the week’s losses, leaving the S&P with its U.S. stocks ended Tuesday’s choppy session slightly lower as investors remained jittery amid tension between Ukraine and Russia and lingering concerns about sectarian wars in the Middle East. The S&P 500 SPX -0.16% closed down 3.18 points, or 0.2% to 1,933.74. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -0.06%  slipped 9.44 points, or 0.1%, to 16,560.54 and turned negative for the year. The Nasdaq Composite COMP -0.27% shed 12.08 points, or 0.3%, to 4,389.25.


The RBR Radio Index was down 22.332, or 2.78%, to 780.591.

The TVBR Television Index was down 29.522, or 3.46%, to 823.429.
