Univision Communications Inc., the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, delivered a record-breaking second day of 2010 FIFA World Cup™ coverage, averaging 2.6 million Total Viewers 2+ (2,562,389), 1.6 million Adults 18-49 (1,556,104), and 870,000 Adults 18-34 (870,253) who tuned in to the network for its unprecedented coverage of the quadrennial tournament throughout the day on Saturday (6/12/10).

To date, Univision is averaging 3.2 million Total Viewers 2+ (3,161,801), 1.3 million Persons 12-34 (1,322,343), 1.9 million Adults 18-49 (1,871,034), and 1.1 million Adults 18-34 (1,080,680), making it the network’s highest delivery to date ahead of the 2006 tournament by +49%, +50%, +40%, and +49% in each demo respectively.

The highly-anticipated match between USA and England registered impressive audience levels for the network, averaging 4.1 million Total Viewers 2+ (4,109,961), 2.5 million Adults 18-49 (2,484,133), 1.7 million Persons 12-34 (1,719,019) and 1.4 million Adults 18-34 (1,396,404) becoming the network’s second highest-rated USA FIFA World Cup™ match ever (behind only USA vs. Mexico in 2002; Jun. 16, 2002).
