Univision Interactive Media announced the availability of its new Univision Futbol App on Apple’s App Store. This comprehensive soccer application for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad gives soccer fans non-stop access to tournaments and leagues from around the world, including Univision’s highly anticipated 2010 World Cup coverage. The Univision Fútbol App will be immediately available for the iPhone and iPod touch and will also be optimized for Apple’s new iPad prior to the World Cup.

The app features the latest World Cup news, video and photos directly from South Africa and detailed stats and game results. Fans can also access customized coverage of their favorite teams with the “Mi Fútbol” personalization tool and receive minute-by-minute alerts on games and goals, and share their passion with photo sharing and commenting.
Throughout the year, the application will also cover the world’s most prominent leagues and tournaments, including the Brasileirao, Bundesliga, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, English Premier League, Italy’s Serie A, the Mexican Soccer League, Spanish La Liga, and the UEFA Champions League, among many others.
