Univision sizzles this summer; #2 among adults 18-49

Three weeks into the July Sweep period, Univision announced that it continues to pace as the #1 broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million average viewers), beating ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and CW, and #2 among Adults 18-49 (1.8 million average viewers). Compared to the same period last year, the network has seen increases of +8% among Total Viewers 2+, +9% among Adults 18-49 and +14% among Adults 18-34, and has 11 of the 30 most-watched shows of the sweep-to-date among Adults 18-34 and 9 of the top 30 among Adults 18-49.


Novelas “Hasta Que el Dinero Nos Separe” and “Soy Tu Dueña” Rule the Airwaves Attracting More Viewers, Regardless of Language, Than Many First Run English-Language Programs.

July 2010 Sweep-to-Date (7/1 -7/18/10) Network Highlights:
Every telecast of Univision’s primetime novelas, “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money) and “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) delivered more Adults 18-34 than CBS’s Sunday and Wednesday telecasts of “Big Brother 12;” FOX’s Thursday night “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Cleveland” and “Simpsons;” NBC’s Wednesday’s “Minute To Win It” and “Last Comic Standing 7,” among other English-language programs.

Univision’s 7th Annual “Premios Juventud” youth award show is currently the fourth most-watched broadcast program in the July 2010 sweep-to-date among Adults 18-34.

Thus far in the July 2010 sweep-to-date, Univision delivered more top ranked programs than any other network among Adults 18-34 (11 of the Top 30) and Adults 18-49 (9 of the Top 30)
