Univision announced a roster of new and returning sponsors for the 22nd annual broadcast of “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina” (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards). Anheuser-Busch, Comcast, Honda, JCPenney, McDonald’s, Paramount Pictures, State Farm Insurance, Subway Restaurants, and T-Mobile will each have a presence during the event. The 2010 edition of “Premio Lo Nuestro” airs on Univision 2/18, from 8-11 pm ET/PT (7-10 pm Central) live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL.

“Premio Lo Nuestro is the longest-running and most popular awards show for Hispanic Americans offering our sponsors the opportunity to deliver their brand messages to a highly engaged audience,” said David Lawenda, president of Ad Sales and Marketing, Univision.‪ “Our marketing partners are leveraging the strength of Univision’s television and interactive properties to reach consumers tuning in for one of the most celebrated nights of Latin music.”

Last year’s broadcast broke all previous audience levels and reached 13 million viewers. The program also made Univision the #3 broadcast network for the night, beating CBS, NBC and the CW among Adults 18-34 with 2.2 million viewers.

Comcast, Honda, Paramount Pictures and Subway are new sponsors this year – returning partners include Anheuser-Busch, JCPenney, McDonald’s, State Farm Insurance, and T-Mobile.

In addition, Comcast is executing a 360-approach as the official sponsor of the “Tú Preguntas” section (You Ask) on Univision.com. ‘Tu Preguntas’ will let users catch their favorite artists backstage prior to the big event answering questions submitted by fans.

Subway will be making one lucky fan’s dream come true at the “Noche de Estrellas” (Night of Stars) red carpet pre-show. One winner will be selected from the audience to receive two VIP tickets to “Premio Lo Nuestro.”

T-Mobile will be taking over the bleacher area at “Noche de Estrellas” Red Carpet pre-show. This exclusive fan experience for T-Mobile customers and music aficionados will offer fans a chance to check out the T-Mobile myTouch 3G as they cheer on their favorite artists.
