It’s not every day we hear about an FM station being traded for an FM translator, and in this case, the translator isn’t even built yet. But that is precisely what’s happening in the southeast Texas area.
The trade is between two religious noncoms: Maranatha Church of Laredo Inc., headed by Israel Telez; and Educational Media Foundation, headed by Mike Novak.
