Week 2 of ‘The Deep End’ slowly building audience

Week 2 of “The Deep End” saw retention of 85% in Total Viewers and 94% in Adults 18-49 from its week-ago series debut, while building on its premiere among Men 18-49 (+8%) and Men 25-54 (+6%). 


The freshman drama finished second in the hour in Total Viewers (6.0 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.1/5).

“The Deep End” built saw its audience build from its first half-hour to its second half-hour across each of the key Adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (+5%). 

“The Deep End” beat its CBS competition in the hour, “Live for the Moment,” by 1.3 million viewers (6.0 million vs. 4.7 million) and by 55% in Adults 18-49 (1.7/5 vs. 1.1/3).
