Week 2: Univision delivers Year to Year growth among Adults 18-49

In the second week of the 2010-11 Season, and for the second consecutive week Univision had the highest growth compared to ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX versus the same week last year in overall primetime among Adults 18-49 (+8%). 


•          Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34 and on 3 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.

•           For the week Univision was the #5 broadcast network in overall primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (4.0 million), Adults 18-49 (2.2 million) and Adults 18-34 (1.2 million); beating CW.  Among Kids 2-11 (504,000), Univision was the #1 broadcast  network last week; out-delivering its closest competitor, FOX, by +19%.
  
•           On Friday, Univision was the #1 most-watched broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million), Adults 18-49 (2.3 million),  and Teens 12-17 (224,000); and ranked #3 among Total Viewers 2+ (4.2 million) ahead of ABC, FOX, and CW.

•           The top three most watched programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34 were Univision’s #1 “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel, 1.7 million), #2 “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money, 1.4 million) and #3 “La Rosa De Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe, 977,000).  Additionally, “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) was also the #1 program on Friday night among Adults 18-49 (2.8 million).

•         Last week, “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel), made Univision the #1 most watched network in the 9pm hour among Men 18-34 (922,000) and the #2 most-watched network in the hour among Adults 18-34 (1.9 million) and Women 18-34 (969,000); and ranked #4, beating FOX and CW, among Total Viewers 2+ (5.9 million), Adults 18-49 (3.3 million) and Women 18-49 (1.8 million).  On a nightly basis the novela was also among the top 10 broadcast programs among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

•       In week 2 of the season, “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money) helped Univision attain the #3 position in the 8pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.5 million); beating ABC, NBC and CW.

•           “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) helped Univision attain the #3 position on Saturday night among Adults 18-34 (620,000) and ranked #4 among Teens 12-17 (83,000).

•           The third episode of “¡Mira Quién Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing!) delivered 3.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 million Adults 18-49, 775,000 Adults 18-34 and 891,000 Persons 12-34.  For the week, Univision’s dance reality competition delivered more Adults 18-34 than many English-language shows, such as FOX’s “Good Guys;” NBC’s “Apprentice 10” and “Outlaw;” “ABC’s “The Whole Truth” and Friday’s “Modern Family ;” CBS’s “Medium;” and CW’s “One Tree Hill” and “Nikita” among others.
