Week 22: The Voice set the pace for NBC

* Paced by week two of “The Voice” and “Smash” and the season premiere of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” NBC averaged a 1.9 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.6 million viewers overall for the week of February 13-19.  “The Voice” finished in a near dead-heat for the week’s #1 ranking on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, with its 6.0 rating landing within a tenth of point of Fox’s 6.1 for the Wednesday edition of “American Idol.”  “The Voice” ranked #1 for the week in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49.

* Also among the week’s top-ranked programs in adults 18-49 were NBC’s “Smash” (tied for #18) and “The Celebrity Apprentice” (tied for #25).  In adults 18-34, “The Office” tied for #12 and “Smash” tied for #15.

* Primetime averages for the week of February 13-19 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.9/8), CBS (2.5/7), ABC (2.0/6), NBC (1.9/5) and CW (0.6/2).  In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (10.9 million), Fox (8.7 million), ABC (6.7 million), NBC (5.6 million) and CW (1.4 million).

* Versus the same week last year, NBC is up 19 percent in 18-49 (with a 1.9 rating vs. a 1.6) while ABC, CBS and Fox were all flat or down in 18-49 rating.
