Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of February 20, 2012 to February 26, 2012


* Univision was the #3 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out delivering NBC (+10%) and CBS (+12%) in the demographic.

* February sweeps to-date, Univision posted increases (+1%) among both Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million viewers) and Adults 18-34 (1 Million viewers) during broadcast prime while the English Language networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX) are down -13% overall among Adults 18-49.

* Univision out-delivered two or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34.

* Airing “Una Familia Con Suerte” at 8PM, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network (based on M-F) among Adults 18-34. During that hour, “Una Familia Con Suerte” attracted 3.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.3 Million Adults 18-34 viewers.

* During the 10PM hour (based on M-F), Univision aired “La Que No Podia Amar” and ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and held the #3 position among Adults 18-49. “La Que No Podia Amar” increased its total viewership versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.1 Million, +1%). The novela also averaged 2.1 Million Adults 18-49 and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34 viewers.

* Univision held the #2 position on Tuesday night among Adults 18-34 airing its primetime lineup, with all 3 programs (“Una Familia Con Suerte” “El Talismán.” and “La Que No Podia Amar”) ranking among the top 15 programs for the night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

* On Wednesday night Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in both demographics.

* Univision was the #1 network on Friday night among Adults 18-34 and ranked as #2 among Adults 18-49.
* Univision’s entire primetime line-up including “Una Familia Con Suerte,” “El Talismán,” and “La Que No Podia Amar” and ranked as the top four programs Friday night among Adults 18-34.
* In the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 91% of the time (21 out of 23 weeks) among Adults 18-34 more than any other broadcast network. Season-to-date Univision ranks as the #2 network among Adults 18-49 on Friday nights.

* Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-49 and #2 among Adults 18-34 on Saturday night.  Airing at 8PM, “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) attracted 2.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1 Million Adults 18-49, and 523,000 Adults 18-34 viewers to rank among the top 10 programs for the night in the respective demographics.  “Sabado Gigante” also reported increases from its prior week delivery among Total Viewers 2+ (+3%), Adults 18-49 (+14%) and Adults 18-34 (+9%).

* On Sunday night Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-34. Univision kicked off the night airing “Dale Con Ganas” at 7PM.  The telecast attracted 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 539,000 Adults 18-49, and 315,000 Adults 18-34.  Following at 8PM, “Parodiando” attracted 3.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49, and 910,000 Adults 18-34 viewers, ranking among the top 20 programs for the night in the respective demographics.
