Week 32: NBC hails performance of The Voice

·       With the Monday and Tuesday editions of “The Voice” both ranking among the week’s top five primetime telecasts in adults 18-49, NBC has generated an average 1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.2 million viewers overall for the week of April 23-29, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

·       Monday’s “The Voice” ranked #4 for the week among all primetime shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, marking the 13th week in a row Monday’s “The Voice” has finished in the top five among primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox.  Tuesday’s “The Voice” Results Show finished #5 for the week in 18-49.  “The Biggest Loser,” “The Office,” “The Celebrity Apprentice” and “Smash” also delivered top-30 rankings for the week in 18-49.

·       In the valuable adult 18-34 demo, Monday’s “The Voice” ranked #2, Tuesday’s “The Voice” and “The Office” tied for #8, “Parks and Recreation” tied for #17, “30 Rock” tied for #21, “Community” and “Smash” tied for #25 and “The Biggest Loser” tied for #30.

·       Primetime averages for the week of April 23-29 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.3/7), ABC (2.0/6), CBS (1.7/5), NBC (1.6/5) and CW (0.5/2).  In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (8.4 million), ABC (8.0 million), Fox (7.3 million), NBC (5.2 million) and CW (1.2 million).
