Which Wireless Bidders Seek TV Spectrum?

GavelThe FCC received over 100 applications from wireless companies that want to take part in the forward spectrum auction.

Nearly 70 applications, like those from Verizon and T-Mobile, are good while another 35 are incomplete, according to the commission.

Sinclair Broadcast Group has applied. Many of the companies on the list are not yet known because the agency only includes their legal name and not backers.

AT&T made the list of those filing incomplete applications; they and others have until April 6 to make corrections. They could re-apply until March 21.

That’s a hard deadline, according to the agency, adding that those who miss it also miss out on the auction completely.
