Whole Lotta Red To Start The Trading Week

U.S. financial markets dipped on Monday, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 54.67 points to 23,276.96, and the Nasdaq composite index was off 42.23, to 6,586.83.


Media stocks were largely down, with Viacom’s Class B shares dipping 1.5%, to $26.31.

Also down: Saga Communications, which slid 2.5%, to $44.55, and Beasley Broadcast Group, which fell some 7.5%, to $10.45.

Cumulus Media ended the day at 32 cents, while “the stub” of iHeartMedia declined 11.4%, to $1.55.
