CBS Radio’s Classic Hits WOGL-FM Philadelphia announced its 25th Anniversary Concert featuring Philadelphia’s own Daryl Hall and John Oates at the historic Tower Theater on Saturday, 5/19 at 8pm.  One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a special on-stage check presentation from all proceeds collected.

WOGL’s entire airstaff will be on hand for one special night to host this incredible musical duo at the Tower Theater.  Hall and Oates are the number one selling music duo of all time.  From the mid-’70s to the mid-’80s, they scored six #1 singles, including “Rich Girl”, “Kiss on My List” and “Private Eyes” and earned multi-platinum status on six consecutive albums. For the past 43 years, Hall & Oates have set the stage for R&B and soul infused Pop music.

“Twenty five years of success is a milestone worthy of celebration.  All of us at 98.1 WOGL are grateful to our legions of listeners, our advertising partners and everyone at CBS for the ongoing support that has enabled us to make WOGL the great radio station it is, every day,” said Jim Loftus, VP/GM 98.1 WOGL and Director of Sales for the Philadelphia Market.  “There’s no better way to celebrate our 25th birthday than with Philly’s favorite home town heroes, Darryl Hall and John Oates at the iconic Tower Theatre. Thanks for 25 great years and watch out, as our best years are yet to come.”
