CBS Radio’s KJKK-FM Jack FM is announced the 1st annual Jack’s Urban Adventure, 5/12 throughout the streets of Dallas for a chance to win $1,500. This event will have teams of two do more in six hours than many do all year. Using teamwork, resourcefulness and the ability to make decisions on the fly as they search for Jack Points (challenges) scattered in unknown locations throughout Dallas.
To conquer this urban event teams will run, walk or use DART to navigate their way throughout the city, calling family and friends for help, accessing the Internet and even employing the assistance of total strangers.

“Jack’s Urban Adventure! It’s the most fun you’ll have wearing comfortable shoes” said Jeff McMurray, Jack FM PD. “It’s kinda like a really fun 10k except you can use public transportation.”
RBR-TVBR observation: Not a bad idea at all. Looks like the station makes some money, it brings goodwill and good times to the city of license and likely involves a good roster of sponsors. Today, it’s not just about doing live remotes and broadcasting live from a nightclub.
