101ESPN – in conjunction with Learfield Sports – announced the St. Louis sports/talk radio station will broadcast all 12 regular home games for the upcoming University of Illinois 2013-2014 football season.
101ESPN will carry the Saturday football game-day broadcasts in their entirety, as well as the weekly Tim Beckman Show, the popular program with Illini’s head football coach hosted by Brian Barnhart.
This joint announcement is part of a larger broadcast agreement between Learfield Sports and their partner Fighting Illini Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for Illini Athletics. Fighting Illini Sports Properties oversees all aspects of the Illini Sports Radio Network. Learfield Sports and Fighting Illini Sports Properties negotiated the new affiliate relationship with 101ESPN on behalf of the university (see the attached news release for additional details.)
