“106.7 The Eagle” flies in Portland


The-eagleCCME Portland announced 8/1 the debut of KLTH-FM 106-7 The Eagle, still playing The Pacific Northwest’s Classic Hits but now with a new name.

106-7 The Eagle plays Classic Hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s including artists such as Elton John, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Journey, and of course The Eagles. The station will continue its regular features including the nightly “Eighties at Eight” and continue to provide workday 10-in-a-rows. The weekday programming line-up will feature:

Rick “Bubba” Taylor 6 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Scott Tom 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Jim E. Chonga 6 p.m. – 12 a.m.

“Introducing The Eagle to Portland is about the continuing evolution of the station. As our listeners tastes have changed so has the station that plays the music they love,” said Mark Adams, Vice President of Programming. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Portland. “The Eagle takes flight this weekend commercial free and will continue to be the Pacific Northwest’s Classic Hits Station.”
