The call for entries to the 2009 Radio Mercury Awards (RMA) began yesterday in a competition for a total of $140,000 in cash prizes, to be awarded on June 17th in New York City. One outstanding commercial will break through to win the $100,000 Grand Prize.

"Smart creative that forces us to look at the medium in a different way is the key. We’re looking for the spots that showcase where radio is headed."
