2009: The year to double up


With travel budgets being cut at many companies, the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB) has merged its two main events of 2009 into one. The spring TVB Marketing Conference will be merged into the fall Forecast Conference, which will be expanded from a half-day to a full day. “We will try to deliver as much bang for the buck as we can with broadcasters making one trip to New York instead of two,” said TVB spokesman Gary Belis.
