It seems that every election year there are a number of states jostling for an early position on the primary schedule, to maximize the influence of the state’s voters. Broadcasters have a different reason to support the same thing.
It’s early, of course, and things could change, but right now it looks like there will be a lot of ad dollars being spent in the early going.
