Bitmovin Will Be at NAB Show. Here’s What It’s Showing Off

Video infrastructure provider Bitmovin will return to the 2022 NAB Show, and it will be found on the expo floor at West Hall / W10109. This is a slight update from the previously announced booth space.


What can attendees expect to see? “Bitmovin will reveal how its full suite of solutions empowers video developers to deliver superior video services and viewing experiences to audiences worldwide.”

Attendees will see “brand new customer-driven solutions solving complex problems in video infrastructure,” Bitmovin adds.

Bitmovin Encoding API which is the fastest on the market. Bitmovin’s chunk-based cloud encoding approach enables content to be delivered at up to 100x real-time, in the highest quality imaginable. Key differentiating features include the ability to run multi-codec streaming workflows, Per-Title adaptive bitrate ladder optimization and market-leading implementations of the latest codecs like AV1 and VVC.

The Bitmovin Player, streams high-quality video with support for most devices and platforms on the market. Their dynamic playback solution for SVOD, AVOD and live workflows addresses device compatibility and testing, low latency content protection and advertising integration – enabling service providers to deliver personalized experiences that support a range of monetization strategies.

Bitmovin Analytics collects data via the Bitmovin Player or other player integrations across the entire video chain (player, CDN, Ad Servers) and visualizes where things break down or perform sub-optimally so issues can be resolved quickly and easily. Real-time insights can be aggregated across many users or drilled down on a per-user level.

In addition to its live demos on the show floor, Chistian Timmerer, Associate Professor and Co-Founder of Bitmovin, will present a paper at the BEIT Conference on Sunday, April 24th at 1:15 pm, entitled “Live-PSTR: Live Per-title Encoding for Ultra HD Adaptive Streaming.”

Additionally, Stefan Lederer, CEO and Co-Founder of Bitmovin will take part in a CMIP Panel Discussion on Tuesday, 26th April at 4:20pm, on the topic of “Going Global: How to launch an international TV service.”

Bitmovin also invites NAB attendees to join its series of on-stand “pop up” presentations featuring practical guides for enhancing video streaming from its video experts and trusted technology partners.
