'30 Rock' was best for NBC's Thursday comedy line-up

At 8 p.m. ET, “Community” delivered a 1.8/5 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period that included Fox’s “American Idol,” CBS’s “Big Bang Theory” and ABC’s “Winter Wipeout.”  


Week to week, “Community” is flat in 18-49 rating and up 9 percent in total viewers (4.159 million vs. 3.808 million).

At 8:30 p.m. ET, “Perfect Couples” averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Perfect Couples” is #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-34 and men 18-34.
   
From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, “The Office” (3.3/9 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall) finished within 1 share of #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and finished #1 in adults 18-34, men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54 (tie) in a slot that includes ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and CBS’s “CSI,” plus Fox’s “Bones,” which benefited from an “American Idol” lead-in.   
 
From 9:31-10 p.m. ET, “Parks and Recreation” averaged a 2.3/6 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Parks and Recreation” is #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in men 18-34 and men 18-49. 
 
From 10-10:31 p.m. ET, “30 Rock” (2.0/6 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall) finished #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and men 18-34 versus ABC’s “Private Practice” and CBS’s “The Mentalist.”  In its five weeks with originals in the 10-10:30 half-hour, “30 Rock” has generated NBC’s five highest 18-49 results in the time period this season.
 
From 10:31-11 p.m. ET, “Outsourced” averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall.  In the time slot, “Outsourced” ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34.
