The National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB) will host the 33rd Annual Community Radio Conference March 26-29 in Atlanta. Attendees from stations in major urban markets as well as small rural and Native American Reservation-based stations across the country will participate in dozens of workshops featuring a broad range of topics from Community Engagement: Building Real and Virtual Community, to "Citizen" Journalism: Building Community through Participatory News. There will also be a pre-conference intensive for recent applicants to the FCC for prospective new non-commercial educational radio stations, If I Had a Hammer: A Guide to Building a Community Radio Station.
