Phoenix-Area Translator Flows To Riviera

0

In October, RBR + TVBR reported that Mushadid “Mush” Khan, President/COO of Houston-based O’Rourke Petroleum, had acquired an FM translator with coverage of the southeastern portion of the Phoenix DMA. At the time, it was known that Khan had some tie to Riviera Broadcasting Company, as the facility was set to rebroadcast an HD multicast signal tied to KZON-FM 103.9, a Hot AC owned by Riviera. Now, Khan has agreed to sell it to Riviera.

Meanwhile, an AM in the Baton Rouge area has been transferred to the nonprofit that agreed to purchase it three years ago, now that installment payments to the seller have been completed.

These are the deals in focus in the Jan. 20 edition of TRANSACTIONS TODAY.
