790 The Zone drops local, goes all-ESPN


wqxi-amLincoln Financial Media’s WQXI-AM Atlanta, Sports “790 The Zone,” has dropped all of its daily local programming to air ESPN Radio 24/7. Additional programming will include “SportsCenter AllNight,” and the live broadcast of NBA and Major League Baseball MLB games, as well as other major sporting events.

The move may have been made after a ratings hit WQXI took after pulling “Mayhem In the AM” on 6/18/13.
