CBS Radio’s 98.7 AMP Radio Detroit (WDZH-FM) recently held a competition to find the best story of a cash-strapped couple who wanted to get hitched on the same day as the Royals in Britain. Marquisa Benford, 34, a mother of seven, and Donahvan Gray, 21, both of Detroit, won and will tie the knot at White Castle. The couple, who own a tattoo business, met at White Castle in May 2009 and eat there almost every day.
Morning show host Puddin’ will conduct the ceremony, White Castle is providing a free reception for 20 guests, wedding bands provided by Michael Agnello Jewelers in Eastpointe, Michigan, and bouquet and cake provided by 98.7 AMP Radio.
It all happens Friday 4/29 at 10:30 a.m. at a White Castle Restaurant in suburban Warren, Michigan.
