A Big Radio Group Says Goodbye For $400 Million

TORONTO — If you thought Entercom’s Reverse Morris Trust-fueled acquisition of CBS Radio was a big deal, you’ve not been paying attention to the Canadian media landscape.


In one of the biggest media deals North America has seen in recent years, the owner of such stations as “Boom 97.3” and “93.5 The Move” in Toronto and “Z95.3” in Vancouver has just reached an all-stock deal with a multiplatform music and video services provider valued in U.S. dollars at $394,563,600.
