A Bigger Region Of Arkansas For Regional Mexican Player

Arkansas isn’t generally considered a hub of America’s Hispanic population. However, the state has seen a marked increase in its Latino residents. According to Pew Research Center tabulations of the 2014 American Community Survey, Arkansas is home to nearly 205,500 Hispanics, representing 6.9% of the state’s population.

This could explain why a husband-and-wife who own a regional Mexican station in Little Rock has just acquired a News/Talk AM in Hot Springs, Ark.

It’s the lead deal presented in RBR+TVBR’s TRANSACTIONS TODAY for Tuesday, Aug. 1.
