U.S. financial markets saw overall improvements on Monday, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 320.11 points, to 24,776.59. Nasdaq jumped ahead by 67.81 points, to 7,756.20. How did media stocks fare?
It was a lackluster Monday. Among the gainers were Viacom, with its Class B shares improving 50 cents to $30.50.
Townsquare Media was up 35 cents to $7.22, a 5% gain. This puts TSQ shares at their highest closing price since May 8.
On the downward slide was SBS, losing 9 important pennies as its stock closed at 26 cents a share. Also down: Entravision, slipping 5 cents to $4.80. Entravision shares recently broke the $5 barrier after reaching a year-to-date low of $4.15.
