WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. — When it comes to the city of license for its owned-and-operated television stations across the U.S., Ion Media has been on a quest to get its stations closer to the metropolitan areas they serve — even if no physical changes to its tower location and output are in the works.
While a recent Kentucky move will allow Ion to put an over-the-air signal over the state capital, the Florida-based broadcast TV company now wants to make a largely non-technical move in Tennessee.
